Luxury hotel has gone mobile with the introduction of the solar capsule house. The capsule house is an environmentally luxury gateway that can be fitted virtually anywhere and removed when you need to be on the move.
The solar capsule mobile home is indeed a green house packed in a compact form. The house measures 30 square meters with a lounge area that converts to a bedroom at night. It also offers toilet and bathroom that comes with showers and tub.
Though it’s small in size it can comfortably accommodate a family of three. It is equipped with all the essentials that will allow for prolonged stay without the need to recharge. This capsule house is made up of lightweight materials and prefabricated wood combined with steel module.
When installed on site it has minimum impact on the environment because the base is elevated from the ground on adjustable steel legs that make it easy to be moved from one spot to the other. You may wonder why it is shaped to look like an egg.
The answer lies in the fact that it’s built in such a way as to be able to collect rainwater and dew. It has in built filters that retain water collected when it rains. The solar capsule house is built with solar cells mounted to serve as roof covering for the house. Attached to the side of the house is a retractable pole holding a 750 watt wind turbine that act as a backup for the solar cells so that there will be power supply all through the year.
You might qualify for a new government solar energy rebate program.
